User Experience S.L is committed to protecting your personal information when you are using our services. We want our services to be safe and enjoyable environments for our audience. This Privacy Policy relates to our use of any personal information you provide to us via phone or text, by email, in letters or correspondence.

In order to provide you with the full range of User Experience S.L services, we sometimes need to collect information about you.

User Experience S.L is committed to safeguarding your personal information. Whenever you provide such information, we are legally obliged to use your information in line with all laws concerning the protection of personal information, in compliance with Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, we inform you that the data you give us will be part of a file owned by USER EXPERIENCE, SL, the which is duly registered in the General Register of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, and will be treated confidentially in order to manage the commercial and trade relations between the parties.

You are responsible for the accuracy and veracity of the personal data that we deliver and communicate via USER EXPERIENCE SL and to any changes in them, so we need you to respond exactly to your situation at all times. Meanwhile, USER EXPERIENCE, SL, will be responsible for the cancellation, dissociation, conservation and communication in the case of transfer of such data once they no longer are needed in managing commercial and trade relations between the parties.

In any case, you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition in accordance with Law 3/2018 of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights in our office, located at Calle Imagen number 6, floor 6, door C, 41003. Seville, Spain.

What information will the User Experience S.L collect about me?

When you participate in, access or sign up to User Experience S.L, activities or online content, such as newsletters, competitions, live chats, message boards, telephone or text us, vote, or create an account using the User Experience S.L online registration system we may receive personal information about you. This can consist of information such as your name, email address, postal address, telephone or mobile number or date of birth, depending on the activity.

By submitting your details, you enable the User Experience S.L (and where applicable its contractors) to provide you with the services.

Please note that sometimes we will require you to provide additional personal information, and sometimes sensitive personal information. When we do this we will provide further information as to why we are collecting your information and how we will use it.

User Experience S.L also uses cookies and collects IP addresses (an IP address is a number that can uniquely identify a specific computer or other network device on the internet) from visitors to User Experience S.L digital properties.

When will the User Experience S.L contact me?

User Experience S.L may contact you:

in relation to any service, activity or online content you have signed up for in order to ensure that we can deliver the services to you; in relation to any correspondence we receive from you or any comment or complaint you make about our products or services; in relation to any contribution you have submitted to User Experience S.L, e.g. via email or voicemail message; to invite you to participate in product feedback sessions for our clients (participation is always voluntary); and for marketing purposes, where you have agreed to this (see section 6 below) Local pages will give you detailed information about how User Experience S.L. will contact you in relation to specific services, activities or online content.

Will the User Experience S.L. share my personal information with anyone else?

We will keep your information confidential except where disclosure is required or permitted by law (for example to government bodies and law enforcement agencies) or as described in section 8 below. Generally, we will only use your information within User Experience S.L and for our clients. User Experience S.L. requires clients to comply strictly with its instructions and User Experience S.L. requires that they can use your personal information for internal reserach purposes only, unless you have explicitly consented to the use of your personal information in this way

What if I am a user aged under 18?

You need to be 18 years and over to participate with us.

Can I find out what personal information User Experience S.L. holds about me

Under the Data Protection Act you have the right to request a copy of the personal information the we hold about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. We will use reasonable efforts to supply, correct or delete personal information about you on our files.

Changes to User Experience S.L. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time so you may wish to check it each time you submit personal information to us. The date of the most recent revisions will appear on this page. If you do not agree to these changes, please do not continue to use our websites to submit personal information. Who are we?

We offer fast, low cost and high quality usability research services through our internet platform. Our clients receive direct end-user feedback about their website/application/other software and rich feedback from user experience specialists. Our clients can watch videos of end-users using their products, benchmark themseleves against competitors and get feedback from user experience specialists. We also provide periodic user research reports across various industries bringing all the user research to your door step. Through Cheackealos platform we aim to connect clients with our community of end-users and user experience specialists so that they can create the magical yet simple user experience for their websites, applications and other software. Our community of end-users in most cases are your customers. Our community of user experience specialists are top-notch professionals.

How will the User Experience S.L use the information it collects about me?

User Experience S.L will use your personal information for a number of purposes including the following:

To provide our services, activities or online content and to deal with your requests and enquiries; For “service administration purposes”, which means that the we may contact you for reasons related to the service, activity or online content you have signed up for, as set out in section 5 below (e.g. to provide you with password reminders or to notify you that a particular service, activity or online content has been suspended for maintenance); To contact you about a submission you have made, including any content you provide. To provide you with information about our services, activities or online content; To personalise the way User Experience S.L content is presented to you To use IP addresses to identify the location of users, to block disruptive use, to establish the number of visits from different countries and to determine whether you are accessing the services from Spain or not. If not, you will be re-directed to the appropriate sites. To analyse and improve the services offered on User Experience S.L websites; To provide you with the most user-friendly navigation experience. User Experience S.L may also use and disclose information in aggregate (so that no individuals are identified) for marketing and strategic development purposes; and When you access the User Experience S.L from outside the Spain, you will see the international version. A certain amount of this advertising may be tailored to the individual user. User Experience S.L uses cookies to work out what advertising might be most relevant to you based on the pages you look at on our website and other regional sites, and your IP address information. Where User Experience S.L. proposes using your personal information for any other uses we will ensure that we notify you first. You will also be given the opportunity to withhold or withdraw your consent for the use of your personal information for purposes other than those listed above.

Will I be contacted for marketing purposes?

User Experience S.L. will only use your information for marketing purposes, or to promote new services, activities or online content where you have agreed to this.

Offensive or inappropriate content on User Experience S.L. websites

If you post or send offensive, inappropriate or objectionable content anywhere on or to User Experience S.L. websites or otherwise engage in any disruptive behaviour on any User Experience S.L. service, we may use your personal information to stop such behaviour. Where we reasonably believe that you are or may be in breach of any applicable laws (e.g. because content you have posted may be defamatory), User Experience S.L. may use your personal information to inform relevant third parties such as your employer, school email/internet provider or law enforcement agencies about the content and your behaviour.

How long will the User Experience S.L. keep my personal information?

We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with the User Experience S.L. or the User Experience S.L. corporate retention schedule (a database that defines which documents should be kept and for how long). If you cancel your registration as a User Experience S.L. website member and your account is deleted a red flag goes on the database and, while we cannot use the personal information, it stays on the system for a period of one year for administration purposes before being deleted automatically.

Where you contribute material to User Experience S.L. we will generally only keep your content for as long as is reasonably required for the purpose(s) for which it was submitted. However other projects are likely to have a longer, or even permanent, duration.

Data retention:

Checkealos will retain personal data we process on your behalf for as long as needed for purposes of fulfilling our obligations under the relevant service agreement with you (including for our provision of the services to you thereunder). Checkealos will retain and use the personal information described in this privacy policy as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, in accordance with this privacy policy.

Moderated studies – Specific provisions
In the event you are setting up a moderated study:

  –  In the event you include individuals who participate as observers (“Observers”) in the moderated study session, they must be muted during the whole study.

  –  If you unmute any of the Observers, it is your responsibility to inform such Observers of the terms of use and privacy policy as well as getting their acceptance thereof and agreement thereto.

Checkealos disclaims any and all responsibility and liability that may derive from non-compliance with respect to the provisions above.

Data security: The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow industry best practices to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. We also comply with the security requirements of Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights, that regulates our processing of personal data. These security measures include:

  –  Data encryption both at rest and in transit
  –  Continuous infrastructure monitoring
  –  Periodic internal vulnerability scans
  –  Secure backup policy and Disaster Recovery Plan
  –  Internal risk assessments
  –  ISO 27001

No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
