Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, evolving, developing, testing and maintaining our web applications on both the backend and frontend, working with modern technologies and collaborating closely with other teams.

The job is

Responsibilities:

• Develop new and enhance existing functionality in Ruby on Rails based applications.
• Design and maintain database architecture and APIs.
• Create user interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, and pure JavaScript (no frontend frameworks).
• Optimize applications in both backend and frontend to ensure high performance.
• Collaborate with other teams to implement technical solutions to solve business problems.
• Perform unit and integration testing, and participate in code reviews to ensure quality.

Requirements:

• Resident in Seville and surroundings
• Native or very fluent in Spanish
• English level B2
• Between 2 and 4 years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (no frontend frameworks).
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Ability to solve complex problems and provide efficient solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Plus:

• DevOps knowledge.
• Knowledge of Docker and containers in GCP.
• Experience in microservices environments.
• Experience with Git Actions.
